Which FreshCo flyer applies to your store?

FreshCo does not print one national flyer. Each week there are separate editions by region, and the prices are not the same. Prices regularly differ between editions, so use the one that matches your store. On freshco.com, prices follow the store you select.

What is Chalo! FreshCo?

Chalo! FreshCo is the South Asian-focused version of FreshCo. The first store opened in Brampton in August 2015, and the banner later expanded to Western Canada. Its weekly flyer keeps the FreshCo discount format but adds more South Asian staples such as atta flour, rice, lentils, spices and halal meat. Check your store's current flyer for featured South Asian staples.

How Scene+ changes the price you pay

FreshCo is part of the Scene+ loyalty program, and many flyer deals now show two prices. Member pricing is the lower price you get when you scan your Scene+ card; the price "without Scene+ card" is what everyone else pays. Check the current flyer for the member price, regular price and conditions. Other offers give bonus points instead of a lower price, for example 100 points when you buy two of an item. Some offers are digital exclusives that you must load in the FreshCo app before you pay.

How to get more out of the FreshCo flyer

• Check the dates and the edition first. A price from another region or from last week may not ring through at the till.
• Start with the first page. The first page carries the headline meat and produce deals, and some are marked "while supplies last", so shopping earlier in the week is safer.
• Compare per pound or per kilo. Produce and meat are priced by weight, while packaged goods often cover a size range such as 177 to 235 g.
• Read "selected varieties". The price applies to the listed flavours or formats only.
• Build meals around the deals. Pick two or three proteins and the produce on sale, then fill the rest of the list with pantry items you already have.

Is the FreshCo flyer the same in every province?

No. FreshCo publishes separate Ontario, West and Atlantic editions, plus Chalo! FreshCo editions for Ontario and the West. Prices and products differ between them, so use the edition that matches your store. This page shows the Ontario edition.

Who owns FreshCo?

FreshCo is the discount grocery banner of Sobeys, part of Empire Company. It launched in Ontario in 2010, opened its first Western Canada stores in 2019 and its first Atlantic Canada stores in Nova Scotia in August 2026.

What did FreshCo used to be called?

In Ontario, most of the first FreshCo stores were converted Price Chopper stores. In Western Canada, many FreshCo locations were former Safeway or Sobeys stores.

Can I see next week's FreshCo flyer before Thursday?

Usually, yes. FreshCo releases its flyer ahead of the Thursday start date, and this page typically switches to the new flyer on Wednesday. If the dates at the top still show the current week, check back later that day.
